Hotel communicated very well prior to arrival and we received some of the best hospitality we have ever received. The family that run the hotel were very attentive and absolutely lovely. Plus the view of sunrise from our room and the clear night skies were exceptional.

LOCATION The lodge is ideally located in what is called "the town", so you'll be close not only to the best-ranked restaurants, but also to many stores where you can get from snacks to fruits and vegetables. It has a stunning view, which literally leaves you speechless, and yes, it's worth every step you climb to get up there (believe us, you'll appreciate staying there!) From here, you'll be able to start trekking to the north, and to the Pilkokaina temple, skipping the first challenging climbing if staying around the port, and if you like exploring, there are many hills in the surroundings to visit with unbelievable views, which are not commonly visited. An additional plus: you're a few steps away from the best sunset viewpoint. BEDROOM My husband and I took the Double Room with Lake View, which has a queen bed and a private bathroom. Both areas, the bedroom and the bathroom, were super tidy and clean. Besides the basic toiletries, we were provided with two shower towels and a shower mat. We stayed 5 nights and we had cleaning service without any additional cost. The bedroom has a nice and pleasant temperature all day, and this is possible thanks to the bedroom's compact design, the wooden floor, the alpaca bedside rugs, and the hermetic windows. Also, the bed has enough blankets to keep you warm during the cold nights, which we consider important. BREAKFAST We had breakfast included, and we can say it's exactly what someone needs to yield physically while exploring the island, and of course, natural ingredients & yummy! (Basically: local herbs infusion, tea or coffee, natural orange juice, scrambled eggs, butter and jam, local bread).

De vriendelijkheid van gastvrouw Sonja en het ontbijt . Daarnaast waren de bedden heerlijk en was er voorbereid op een koude nacht door meer dan voldoende fleecedekens. Het uitzicht vanuit de accomodatie en onze kamer was schitterend.

Absoluut een aanrader voor een verblijf op Isla del Sol! Lekkere warme douche, heerlijk bed met genoeg dekens (zijn nodig voor de koude nacht) en heerlijk ontbijt. De eigenaresse is super aardig en je hebt zelfs een eigen dakterras waar je heerlijk in de zon kunt zitten!

Quilla Wasi - ISLA DEL SOL ligt in Comunidad Yumani en heeft een tuin, een terras, een restaurant, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. De vriendelijke en persoonlijke ontvangst. Francesca stond ons op te wachten onderweg en gedurende het ganse verblijf zorgde ze als een moeder voor ons. Ze was niet opdringerig maar heel begaan met ons verblijf en heel zorgzaam voor haar accomodatie. Ze zorgde persoonlijk voor het ontbijt (om 7 uur al naar de haven inkopen gaan doen) en het smaakte des te meer. De kamer was perfect in orde. Heerlijk bed met zachte lakens en warme dekens. Mooi uitzicht over Titicaca. Goede verwarming op de momenten dat het nodig was. Douche en toilet zoals het hoort.

Hostal Phaxsi ligt tegenover het strand in Comunidad Yumani en heeft een terras en een restaurant. Iedere kamer is uitgerust met een balkon met uitzicht op het meer en gratis WiFi. Het ontbijt was best uitgebreid en lekker. De kamer is groot, schoon en het bed was fantastisch! Erg fijn dat het hostel naast de haven ligt, voor als je veel bagage mee hebt.

Hostal Inti Uma Kala bevindt zich in Comunidad Challapampa, op 2,8 km van Chinkana and Mama Ojjlla, en beschikt over een tuin en uitzicht op de stad Tot de faciliteiten van deze accommodatie behoren... The view of the hostel was amazing, especially for sunrise. Hot showers and comfortable beds.
