Set in Locarno and with Piazza Grande Locarno reachable within 700 metres, Villa Rossella offers a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The hotel (actually a charming villa) was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. The lady at the reception 🥰🥰🥰 was very friendly, welcomed us with complimentary chocolates. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The room was beyond comfortable, spotless and spacious, with elegant décor. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options. Great restaurants and train station within walking distance. Ability to store your luggage after check-out. Hotel Millennium in Locarno is located right on the banks of Lake Maggiore, near the harbour and only a 2-minute walk from the Old Town and the train station. Wi-Fi is available for free in all rooms.... The location was fabulous! Close to train station, right on the water. Also close to the furnicular and cable car to access hiking trails and the mountains. Very nice breakfast included and they even went out of their way to provide gluten free bread due to my companion's allergy.

The property has garden views. the location was perfect for our TMB hike- en route, and an easy walk to restaurants and small grocery store. an older apartment but perfectly comfortable with excellent bedding, wifi and good kitchen and fridge. the ‘no appointment with owner’/ keycode access was excellent.
