This was perhaps the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Besides that, accommodations were excellent for a small hotel. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was friendly and caring. Location excellent, right around the corner from the lake.

Habe ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit direkter Seesicht bekommen: das hat mich riesig gefreut! Super nettes Personal. Schönes, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Das nahegelegene Restaurant Mamma Mia, das offenbar auch zum Hotel gehört, ist auch sehr empfehlenswert.

Der Empfang war äußerst herzlich und freundlich. Die Ferienwohnungen sind wunderschön eingerichtet, tolle Küche, super Bäder und alles tiptop sauber. Der Pool ist super und vor allem angenehm beheizt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in nächster Nähe und zur Piazza am See läuft man keine zehn Minuten. Praktisch ist die Tiefgarage direkt im Haus. Wenn man nicht kochen möchte gibt es ein tolles Restaurant im Haus oder ein paar Minuten in Richtung See.

Everything was very clean and we were very well welcomed by the hosts. We booked a table in the restaurant and the food was very good. The wine selection is amazing good. The location was great and we had a fantastic view from our room and we were able to charge our eletric car directly at the hotel. Thanks for the hospitality.

The design of the place was very chic. located very centrally, it was easy to walk around. the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was also delicious cured meats, cheeses, pastries, and the honey was particularly exceptional.

The location is simply breathtaking and once the last ferry leaves around 5:30pm you have the entire island to yourself with the other few hotel guests (10 rooms in total). There are picturesque viewpoints all around the island in the various areas of the botanical garden, where the vegetation is assembled by world region. The restaurant, while expensive, is worth every penny. Certainly one of the best dining experiences we have ever had - an intimate, quiet, superbly delicious meal looking out over the lake to the lovely town of Ascona under the kind and watchful eye of the restaurant manager who handles all table duties alone.
