Communication with owner was excellent.

We went for hiking nearby, so we wanted a hotel that is comfortable but not fancy because we will only sleep there. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and quiet, meeting all our need. Staffs are very friendly. Restaurant was great. Food are quite nice. They seem to specialize on cordon bleu because one third of the menu is dedicated to different variation of cordon bleu (made my partner very happy).

All people at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. It felt like they were your long time friends. The location is few minutes walk from the cable car - just perfect! The owner-run Hotel Splendide is located about a 3-minute walk from the centre of Crans-sur-Sierre and 400 metres from the cable car, and offers panoramic mountain views. The hoteliers were very friendly and accommodating to our particular needs.

Located right near the lake, and accessible to the nearby bar (1 min walk) and shops (5 min walk) . Cozy room, clean bathroom and comfortable bed. It was a self check in, and the instructions were very easy to follow. I stopped here for a day while doing the Haute Route hike.
