A Soulful Stay at Cabañas Iracas Del Mar Tucked along the serene shores of Nuquí, Cabañas Iracas del Mar offered us a retreat that felt both restful and idyllic. From the moment we arrived, Daisy, the heart and soul of this place and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a warmth that went far beyond hospitality. Their care and attention to detail made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely looked after. At times, we’d find ourselves chatting with the other family members and staff, sharing stories, or picking fresh fruit right from the trees in the garden. Each of us had our own cabin, and they were just what we needed spacious , comfortable, and open to the lush surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the songs of the birds drifted in naturally. We especially loved reading in the hammocks just outside the cabins on the balconies, swaying gently in the afternoon breeze. The location is also perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and close enough to town that we could walk in for lunch or dinner, but far enough that it still felt like a world of its own. Like being in a town away from the town. Our stay at Cabañas Iracas del Mar was more than just a holiday it felt like a journey into the heart of Nuquí’s natural beauty and the deep, quiet generosity of its people. If you’re looking for a place that offers both solitude and connection, peaceful rest and enriching excursions, this is a destination that truly has it all.

Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

Adrian and Lina were lovely hosts. We fehlt Like being Home and just had a very great time. We recommend the Jungle hike with Adrian, which was nice but exhausting. he Had a great knowledge about the plants and animals around us. Our room was comfy and Clean and we were able to Here the sea. the food was excellent. we Hope to come Back one day ❤️

Cabañas Los Almendros es un alojamiento 4 estrellas ubicado en Capurganá, a 4 minutos a pie de Playa Capurganá, y tiene un jardín, una terraza y un bar. Las habitaciones están equipadas con patio. El personal es muy amable, muy buenas personas. El desayuno es súper rico, la cama es muy cómoda, aunque hay cortes de luz en toda la región, el hostal cuenta con paneles solares y de hecho jamás nos faltó la luz ni el agua.

The location is spectacular and on the beach. I enjoyed my morning walking along the shore. The breakfasts are my favorite meal of the day, they are different every morning and the cooks are creative with the food types and tons of flavor. So many great tours offered. We did the whale watching tour and the baby turtle release. Both were amazing and unforgettable. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The public kitchen was great for making meals. H ighly recommended overall.
