Featuring a garden, bar and views of sea, El Pajas is located in Puerto Velasco Ibarra, 200 metres from Playa Negra. The family that runs El Pajas met me off the ferry, and were very kind and welcoming. The accommodation is fantastic - large well appointed rooms in an 'island style' that really fits with the place. Spotlessly clean. The owner gave me fresh fruit and juice during my stay, and allowed me to stay at the property until my mid-afternoon ferry on the day I left. One of the best places I have stayed during my month in the Galapagos. Thoroughly reccomend.

Black Beach House features a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Floreana. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Rony was an excellent host - he'll show you all round the very small town and explain how you can make the most of your precious time there, by recommending amazing snorkeling spots (with turtles, penguins, sea lions pelicans and so many fish ofc) beautiful hikes, telling tales of the islands fascinating and quite dark history... it's honestly such a magical place. The house is right on the beach with amazing walks, a little bar at the end of the gorgeous garden pops up at sunset, gathering the few very relaxed visitors for an hour or two of appreciation and cocktails before dinner at one of the very welcoming restaurants. You can cook your own food of course, if you want to. There's a big kitchen space and a table in the lobby (with great acoustics btw) and a selection of books for lazing the day away in a hammock under the trees. The wifi is amazing for those who have to work (like me) or want to call friends and rave about how amazing it is. I had such a beautiful time here, would highly recommend.
