Facing the beachfront, Oassium Hotel - Adults Only offers 4-star accommodation in La Pineda and has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. The included breakfast was incredible - fresh with a great variety. Lots of continental items, including meats and house produced pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, fancy coffee machines; along with hot items that were actually hot and a chef there to cook other things on request. We had dinner there once too - 26 Euros each - it was also good. The nearby spa facility was great too and included for up to three hours a day - huge hot spas, large warm pools, cool pools, ice, steam sauna. Yes, they were working on the nearby beach foreshore but that didn't create disturbing noise and you can still directly access the beach. The many padel courts next to us were fascinating and well used. All of the staff were lovely. There was also nightly entertainment included at the other end of the sister resorts but starting at 9:30pm, so we never checked it out! Oassium is part of the Estival group and is located on the beach side of the large area along with all of the Estival properties - the whole thing was a quiet haven, with no cars or other vehicles inside the perimeter. Parking was free on the beach road, 3 minutes walk from our room.

I absolutely loved everything. The hotel has a unique design – every corner is thoughtfully arranged. In the room, you have water and coffee every day. The view is splendid.

Set within less than 1 km of Cala Forn Beach and 41 km of PortAventura, El Barco offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in L'Ametlla de Mar. We stayed for 1 night on our way to Spain. Pre-arrival communication was excellent and upon arrival, we received a warm and friendly welcome from Tania and Roberto who both spoke very good English. The property is in a quiet residential area with safe parking and we were able to take our bikes off the car and put them securely under cover. The room was warm and spotlessly clean with good storage, a nice modern bathroom, a large comfortable bed (which was different) and a private balcony with sea view. Obviously we weren't able to take advantage of it in January but it'd be lovely in the summer. The pool and patio area looked really nice too and would definitely be inviting on a warm day. The communal area had (in our case) a very useful guests' fridge. We ate nearby at El Rincon de Antonio. which was a very popular "locals" restaurant however, the menu of the day was good, plentiful, reasonably priced and included a bottle of decent tasting wine. What's not to like...? There was a great breakfast choice and we were able to make our sandwiches for the road at the table thanks to our very obliging hosts. An excellent stopover.
