The sauna also works perfectly, and had a convenient access to the patio for a cool down in the snow. Finally, the location was unbeatable as it was only a couple of minutes from the Olavinlinna castle, the city center, and walking trails on the islands.

We had a really nice stay at the Ollila Farm. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, we slept well. Having a wood-heated sauna in the evening was a real treat. Breakfast was great. The old part of the house where breakfast is served is beautiful. I especially enjoyed listening to native birds living in the area, including Crex crex and Acrocephalus dumetorum.

Owner had boat engines, bikes, supboards and more for rent. The lake is very clear and full of fish. There were some mosquitoes and horseflies but not too many. The lake is quite shallow and there are big rocks at the bottom.
