A private one bedroom, air conditioned house on a longtime local's pristine property. We enjoyed the well maintained pool and pool house, cooked in the well outfitted kitchen, watched spectacular sunsets from our porch, and walked up and down the beach road to town. Larissa is an accommodating, friendly hostess who knows how to walk the fine line between being available and allowing your complete privacy. We love Savusavu and would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I explored Savusavu as part of our “baby-moon” trip and staying at Gingerbread added to the special feeling of the island. It is right by Splitrock snorkeling site and a small walking beach, surrounded by a lush garden and one can enjoy the ocean view while sipping coffee on the porch. It is also right by the town, so one does not feel too isolated. The place is so functional - with plenty of seating, a small kitchen and a good comfortable bed. I loved the shower too - you can hear the birds chirping and it has a big window. Jan made us feel very welcomed and comfortable and shared useful tips on the nearby sites, places to visit and dine at. We will definitely stay here again once back.

The communication with the owner - Clark Murphy is efficient and he makes it as seamless as possible. The lovely feel of the entire place and location makes it convenient for travel along the Hibiscus Highway with lovely nights accompanied by the signature "Vosa Ni Ua" or voice of the waves on the beach nearby. To put it simply, I loved everything about Fiji Lodge Vosa Ni Ua.
