Situated in the heart of the Sancy mountain range and set next to Chambon Lake, this 3-star hotel is next to le Mont Dore Ski resort, 14 km from both Super-Besse Ski Resort and La Bourboule Spa... Margaux is the perfect host, the apartment was wonderful with every facility one needs. Breakfast was delicious and the views from the apartment's dedicated deck were fabulous. Very dog friendly and central to the wonderful scenery of the Auvergne and Cantal. We could not fault our stay and will return.

Set in a house of the 15th century located next to a river, right in the middle of the Gorges du Tarn area, hotel Château de la Caze is a typical castle from a fairytale and is surrounded by golden... It's a magical place! We have been coming for years and it's just as wonderful under the new management, arguably with a much better restaurant and always super friendly service. There is something for everybody, from just lounging by the pool to taking a canoe from the private beach onto the Tarn. Enjoy!

Check in at 16h but they are nice to let us come 2 hours in advance, we end up extending a night cos the kids wouldn’t want to leave anymore. The pictures didn’t do the place justice, you can see the chateau de chouvigny right above the property, the property was actually a dépendance of the castle once. Very nice and calm place to stay.
