We really enjoyed this typical stone structure with a warren of rooms up a staircase. We had a duplex room with a balcony where we were served our breakfast. It is just 20 meters down the beach to a fantastic restaurant. In the morning the owner took us for a ride around the bay on his boat which was a real treat. The warm welcome by the owner and his lively young family were a big plus. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Monodendri and will return next year for sure. The location is ideal, near the village but not right inside. The sea was on our doorstep, we sat on our veranda and soaked in the view. The apartment was perfect in size with great aircon, comfy beds and espresso machine. The staff were so friendly and warm. Our stay was perfect and we didn't want to leave.

The family owned restaurant downstairs served delicious meals. Sitting by the sea and enjoying the local foods was a beautiful experience. What truly stood out, though, was the incredibly friendly service. The host and his staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s clear they take pride in making guests feel welcome. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Gythio.
