What an amazing hotel! We had a fantastic stay during our two nights here. The manager is incredibly friendly and truly goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome. He was always available via WhatsApp and helped us organize a private boat transfer to and from the hotel. He also arranged a tour for us the next day, which was absolutely amazing. Another huge highlight is the hotel restaurant — easily the best around. Many guests from other hotels even come here just for the food. We highly recommend trying the lobster; it was delicious and very affordable. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

I have no words to describe the entire experience I had at this place. Simply wonderful. The staff service is amazing—very kind, very honest, and they do everything they can to accommodate your needs. They strive to do their best for the guests. From the kitchen staff to the waiters, bartenders, and boat captains, the service is excellent. I give it a 100 rating, and very, recommend it to anyone in the world who wants to escape their daily routine and feel like royalty. Go to CASA CARIBE HOTEL. We are thinking about returning. An amazing hostel located up the Rio Finca which flows into the Rio Dulce. Having stayed at another lovely hostel close to the town of Rio Dulce, I would say this end of the river is more beautiful and unspoilt. You can take kayaks out and explore the little mangrove creeks near the hostel or venture as far afield as the Biotopo nature reserve. So many suggestions of fun and interesting things to do you could easily spend a week here!

It’s in really good location. Very close to Castillo San Felipe and on the edge of Rio Dulce. It has complimentary kayaking and you can swim if you want to. It has two big pools, one for kids and the other for adults. The restaurant has a nice view of the lake and it has great food and a variety of options for everyone. The room is clean and comfortable with air conditioning.

This rustic-style property offers a private beach area, BBQ facilities, a restaurant and bar on site, plus a gym. Mar Marine Yacht Club also boasts massage services and free WiFi access. Situated right on the water, this hotel offered a beautiful restaurant, hammocks to relax in, and the breeze off the water was wonderful. The room was very clean, the shower had good hot water and pressure.
