The Houses of History is located on the shore of Belső-tó in Tihany, on a half hectare area, a 5-minutes walking distance from the city centre. Stay at The Houses of History was terrific! Very cozy and stylish buildings and apartments. Lovely garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent, with many choices and delicacies. The staff was amicable, caring, and very professional. Special thanks to the team for their hospitality! It makes the stay at the hotel unforgettable!

The location is absolutely the best, just 4 minutes walk from the beach, in the hurt of a luxurious street, the hotel is new, modern, comfortable beds, great shower room, the soap in the shower is a high end brand, there are coffee machines in the room, and in the lobby. The parking is below the building and it is safe.

The room is very spacious and pretty, definitely a great experience to be there as not many place are so original in their interior - it's really cozy. The beds were comfy and we received a bottle of wine :) There's all the right equipment, coffee pods, shampoo and soap. There's a restaurant right under the hotel which is also nice as they have great food.

What a lovely place! Uniquely designed and cared for, spotless clean and perfectly situated in a serene little alley 2 min from the center of town. The heart and mind behind this cozy travellers' home is the owner, Atila, who also offered us a ride to the beach and refused to take extra charge for late check-out. Very highly recommended!

We arrived a bit early but could checkin early at no additional cost. The manager was super easy to reach via booking.com phone number. The place is super modern, aircon, shower, bed excellent quality. Great location, 10min. Walk to the beach of Csopak. Would definetly come back/ We will be back!
