The hotel is very new, and the service is excellent. You can tell a lot of thought went into the interior design—stylish and well-executed. The breakfast is also quite good; the cheese chicken wrap is delicious, though it's not available every day. On weekend evenings, there's live music at the bar, which creates a great atmosphere. I also really liked the mystery box cocktails—they were a fun surprise.

AJ Residence - Above Peppermint Asia City is located in Kota Kinabalu, less than 1 km from Filipino Market Sabah, 2.8 km from Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village, as well as 5.5 km from North Borneo... Stunning room, clean and luxury feel to it. Staff were great, really helpful and had good communication through WhatsApp. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! You’d definitely struggle to find a nicer place than this in Sandakan. 10/10 recommend

Set in Kota Kinabalu and within 400 metres of Filipino Market Sabah, CJ Residence - Opposite Public Bank Centre Point features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Very nice staffs, perfect location, clean room, etc. I love everything here! I would like to stay here again if I have any chance. Thank you.
