Boasting a garden and views of city, Evergreen Lodge is a recently renovated homestay set in Padang, 2.3 km from Samudra Beach. Stayed here before and after a mentawai trip. THIS IS HE BEST PLACE TO STAY IN PADANG. Great location but the staff are what make this place. So friendly and hospital. We aye together in the evenings like a family and in the day the staff go out of their way to take you on trips to their local village or tourist spots. Highly recommend 🫶🙏

Asim Paris Guesthouse & jungle trekking has a garden, private beach area, a terrace and restaurant in Bukit Lawang. Boasting a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The staff were so great. Andi organised us a great jungle tour and we saw heaps of orangutans. They also got us scooters to hire which was very helpful. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. Pancakes or scrambled egg on toast with a plate of fresh fruit. Great value for money, definitely recommend.

The room was clean, had a very comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the patio. They have a little harbour where you can swim from. It’s possible to rent snorkel-gear from the cafe next door.

The Bungalows are really comfortable, there is free water and tea and the sea view is amazing. Also the food at the restaurant is super tasty and all the staff are very nice. Borja gave us a lot of tips what to do on the island, which was really helpful.
