We loved our stay at Wavealokam beach retreat. The owner and her team are super friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were extremely clean and the breakfast was also delicious. The owner also offered us to checkout late since our taxi was scheduled to arrive early afternoon. Regarding the location as well, we were super happy. The edava beach is just a 5 min walk away and is non- touristy. We enjoyed a private beach most times of the day. The ride to the north cliff is also just 10 mins away and the resort usually helps arrange a cab/tuktuk. Overall we would wholeheartedly recommend this stay and look forward to coming back again in the future :)

With two toddlers we wanted a place right at the beach with less than 200 feet from our cottage and this was it! We hardly walked for a min and we were at the beach! The property fence is only 2 feet tall and is right in the sand of the beach. Sunsets were spectacular too. Paradise with a young family! Cleanest pool and yummy food adds to the experience. Fish pond and beautiful flowers were appreciated too by my toddlers. Maxon and his team ( Nidhin, Amal, and the housekeeping staff) took very good care of our food and baby needs.. All in all a great peaceful secluded quiet holiday gem!

Nice peaceful and cosy place, feels like home away from home. It’s close to the beach and has a great rooftop to chill. The coffee and chai here is excellent and the muesli bowl is phenomenal. Ask for sound healing, it was a wonderful experience.

Located on a quiet alley in Fort Cochin this hotel is a new beautiful oasis. The facilities are great with a good breakfast included in a roof top room. There is a really cute lounge across from the breakfast room, a comfortable way to relax at the end of the day. The rooms aren't huge but large enough to feel very comfortable. The bathrooms are very modern and I liked the rain shower from the ceiling and a shower curtain to keep the room dry. The hotel is walking distance to all Fort Cochin tourist sights. Shaan the owner is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our last morning I couldn't get Uber to work to get to the airport and Shaan helped us get a taxi. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Cochin!

I felt very safe as a female solo traveller. Property looks exactly like on photos! It‘s big and lofty. The female dorm was very clean, had AC, towels, a huge mirror and windows are covered in mosquito nets. There’s a cool chilling area outside to socialise with other guests or to just read. The staff is lovely and provided tea and even prepared a savoury rice porridge for us guests to try. When the tuktuk driver didn‘t have change, staff paid for some of the fare to get me to the station for me to catch my train. I will never forget their hospitality!!!
