First of all i want to say thank you so much to the host ' Pintu Bhaiya' who has made this small hostel like home & the same was reflected during my stay. Before planning a trip to Varkala i did a lot of research and was skeptical travelling alone to new location, but he helped me with everything from cafe recommendations to scooty bookings making my stay memorable. Don't miss sunset walks :) I know i will be back at my this home soon.

I felt very much welcome and at home in Patadise homestay, the hosts were so heartily open and supporting in whatever needs and questions I had. I enjoyed the delicious Home made Indian breakfast. It was really like being in a family, also sitting in the Yard and Meeting the other guests.

The cliff is just a 10min walk from the hostel. Met a lot of fellow solo travelers. Food was good and reasonably priced.

A happy place to relax and unwind at the beach. From the first moment it took my breath away, I felt as I was in Greece. Super white beach, blue ocean and more than friendly hosts (Max, Soni and Anish) and incredible food. Impressed by the service and effort the made to fulfil every wish. I will for sure revisit and stay longer. My new happy place ♥️

I could have early stayed here a month. Beautiful big spacious en-suite bedroom with wonderful balcony and seconds from the beach with a large choice of restaurants. Breakfast was delicious

Barefoot is more than just a hostel, it's a second home. I found this place after changing the first structure, and I couldn't come across a better place. The welcome, the place and Vikash the host make this place a safe haven. The environment is calm and peaceful, the common areas are large and well maintained, the music relaxes the soul and in addition there is the kitchen completely available and well equipped. In short, nothing to complain about but that I miss you, see you soon

Very nice cozy room with AC option but I didn't even need it, ceiling fan made nights perfect. Also I really enjoyed the small balcony with a table and chair, away from the street - perfect place to start my mornings and reflect on a day in evenings for my kind of solo traveling. It's location is also really convenient, it's close to everything in Fort Kochi. Host was also really friendly and helpful - seemed really stress-free guy, easy to communicate, helped me find a good Ayurvedic massage place with ease, he also provided mosquito repellent sticks and lended me some eating utensils for the time being. Host also kindly allowed me to leave my luggage on the last day after check-out until evening, so I didn't need to carry it around until my bus. Really enjoyed my stay at Safari homestay - totally recommend!!!
