Hotel Martino offers stunning views over the Policastro Gulf, a heated indoor pool, and free lobby Wi-Fi. The seaside and the private beach are a 10 minute's walk away. Parking is free. I was absolutely surprised about the beautiful location with its stunning view at the ocean and the mountains as well as to the yard! It’s an amazingly calm place which is also accessible by train (10 min walk). Also the beaches are nice and only 8 min walking away. The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff very friendly and humble. I also loved the breakfast with a very good selection of everything you need (also enough for veggies). really like to come back!

We stayed here one night while driving through Italy. The hostess was quite gracious. This facility was new. The room was clean, comfortable, quite, and had a great view. We definitely felt like we were not in a tourist trap. Breakfast was exceptional! More than a typical European continental breakfast. The Italian mountain villa ambience was wonderful. Nearby restaurant choices seemed plentiful and the one we chose was excellent; true local Italian restaurant (Santa Lucia).

The room was larger than expected, new furniture, mini fridge and extra blanket. Everything was very clean and perfumed. Comfortable bed and pillows and we slept like babies. It is a quite place! It was a great stay for us and it's only 30 minutes away from Matera.

Conversation was converted immediately from Italian to English with app so we knew exactly what was on offer. Beautiful peaceful view over valley and the sea from the balcony. Meticulous attention to detail with cleanliness, furnishings and supplies. Breakfast was catered for with a stocked fridge and additional food in morning. Lovely walks to the coast and up the hill.
