Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Casa Longhi is set in Orta San Giulio. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The host, Nicolo, was amazing. He reached out days before we arrived with necessary check in details. He personally greeted us on arrival and on departure. His service was excellent. There is such a difference in a property that is managed by owners as you get that personal experience. There was also a personal greeting for us in the apartment. The apartment was spacious with all amenities. The bed, pillow and towels were all of excellent quality. The location was close to several restaurants that could be walked to. On our three trip through Italy this was the best place we have stayed! If I could rate higher than 10/10 I would.

Set in a renovated 18-the century building on the shores of Lake Orta, B&B AL DOM is in Sacro Monte di Orta and offers free Wi-Fi throughout, a garden, and a terrace. Massimo was an outstanding host and made us very welcome in a wonderful and well appointed location. All was perfect and we would very much like to return in summertime. A peaceful and tranquil haven during our hectic train trip through northern Italy.

Remarkable historical palazzo, member of Relais & Châteaux. The service here is outstanding — staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Everything is perfectly taken care of, and breakfast is just amazing. Orta is a lovely place to explore while discovering the lake region.

Situated in Gozzano, in a historic building, 30 km from Borromean Islands, Palazzo del Vescovo is a recently renovated apartment with free bikes and garden. The weather was not ideal for beach activities. However the apartment was cozy and well equipped with very nice sitting area outside.
