This was our absolute favorite hotel during our entire trip to Hokkaido! The hotel is incredibly beautiful, with aesthetic details everywhere you look. Everything was spotlessly clean, and all the staff were so kind and welcoming. You can even book a private hot spring, which was such a special experience! We chose the breakfast-included option, and it was absolutely amazing—so delicious and abundant. On top of that, the restaurant’s view was breathtakingly beautiful. Our room was simply perfect—we loved it so much! It was spacious, beautifully designed, and had a stunning view of the ocean right outside. We are already looking forward to coming back again in the future! Thank you so much to the Wakamatsu and all the wonderful staff for giving us such a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Set within 8.6 km of Otaru Station and 26 km of Otarushi Zenibako City Center, Otaru Geihinkan offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Otaru. The distance from Otaru town was 15 minutes drive away. This property is literally located at the coastal line, a fascinating view from the room balcony and dining area. Breakfast was included, and it was surprisingly appetising as if served at a fine dining restaurant. The property operated since 2023, so everything is in a very good state. Everyone entering the place will need to take off their shoes at the reception, only allowed in their house slippers. There is individual r.emote to control the airon, heater (even for the bed). I liked the high ceiling in the room, that has a loft area to accommodate 2 more persons if needed. The service staff was wonderful and helpful extending help to us with our luggage. It was so relaxing watching the waves and seagulls busy at the shore.

Offering sea views, Seaside Inn KOKOMO is an accommodation located in Hakodate, 3.6 km from Goryokaku Park and 4.3 km from Hakodate Goryokaku. This was one of the cutest places we stayed in, in all of Japan. The flat is wonderfully designed, clean, the view is gorgeous (you can easily nip out for a walk ok the beach in the morning), the place is calm, there is enough space (we travelled with two small kids). The coffee to selfgrind was a lovely add-on. The flat is on top of the cafe/ shop, also run by the owners, and the food was delicious. There are other food places in the area (sushi just next door was very good), and a 7/11 just across the street. It is a little out of the centre but there is a bus literally 2 minutes away which takes you to the mainstation in 5 minutes - so totally worth it. We had a really lovely stay! Easy check in and check out.
