This was probably the nicest room we stayed at in Japan. Spacious and so well decorated. The amenities were the best we had throughout our trip (organic bamboo hair brushes?!). Our fridge was stocked with drinks, and the snack bag and fresh matcha mochi were so tasty. Bed was very comfortable. Spending an hour or so coloring in the atelier room was a great way to relax during a whirlwind trip. Easy walk to the main train station.

Wonderful location (easily reachable by public transit), close to the beach, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, beautiful and simple decor. The most comfortable bed of our entire trip in Japan. It was warm enough during our stay in October to be able to have breakfasts and dinners outside, which made it feel like summer, only without the crowds. Japanese friends from Tokyo came down for dinner with me and each made a note to come back again for a stay. I never wanted to leave!

Mr. Sato, who welcomed me, was very kind and helpful. I had a really comfortable stay here — the bed was exceptionally clean, and so were all the common areas. The toilet has a bidet, and the shower is separated from the dry area, which was very convenient. The kitchen offers free coffee, green tea, and barley tea, and you can also add breakfast for a very reasonable price — it was delicious and filling! The location is great, just a 5-minute walk to the Enoden train station, making it easy to get around. If I come back to this area, I’ll definitely stay here again!

Villa Kamakura is a very spacious and well lighted with windows, some rooms overlook the ocean like the one I got. The amenities are complete with large TV, air conditioning, humidifier, kitchenette, bath tub, sound system, and a very large duvet. More than that, the contact person, Toshi, handles your needs in a personal manner no hotel can offer. From greetings, to suggestions, to specific inquiries about the tourist attractions. All in all, a superb facility!
