The owner is extremely helpful and always gracious. She speaks English very well, especially helpful to a solo traveler & first time visitor to Japan. She was kind enough to drive me to my nearby stay and to the bus stop.

It was a perfectly manicured property and every room offered a breathtaking ocean view. Their kaiseki dinner was delicious and their service was to die for. We told them that we’re celebrating our husbands’ big birthday there and we’re what they’d come up with. They offered them a lovely birthday cake with traditional Japanese celebration attire for them to try on! We loved their care and wonderful hospitality.

The hotel sits right on the beachfront with an unobstructed view of the the ocean, Torishima and Takashima islands as well as the northern coast and at night you can see the train come around the tip of the bay.
