We loved this stay - the flat is full of character and massive for two people! There’s an onsen in the bathroom which was perfect for winding down at the end of the day and there’s also a foot bath which you can use while looking up at the stars at night! Thanks to Ben and his partner for making this stay so lovely - wish we’d stayed longer!

Lovely place, lovely location, lovely room and lovely family. Probably my favourite stay during my solo trip, the owners were so kind and English explanations about the area were really good. The room was lovely with a nice sea view and the tatami floor is quite interesting , the kumano downtown is close and peaceful but have all the facilities you need. Highly recommend if you are interested in kumano kodo or travelling around Wakayama.

Exquisito trato, magnífica cena y desayuno, onsen en la habitación. Inolvidable Exquisite treatment, magnificent dinner and breakfast, onsen in the room. Unforgettable.

The view from the hotel is very nice, located near the sea and easy to access. It was spacious and clean, with all necessary facilities which made the stay very comfortable. The host was also very welcoming, and the information provided on booking were matching reality. In summary, it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend it.

It was run by this cute lady, who was very talkative, friendly and just enjoyed getting to know travelers. She made my stay super comfortable and I felt so at home here. I definitely want to come to Atami again just to stay here and see her again.
