Sokcho Summitbay 1701 "Ocean View" ligger i Sokcho i Gangwon-Do, med kort vei til Lighthouse Beach og Sokcho kultursenter. The room was really clean/ new and had all the things we needed ( electrical appliances, cleaning supplies, etc). The views from the room were also so breathtaking, being on the 17th floor and facing the ocean. Other than that, it was also so convenient, as it was so close to so many food choices and convenience stores, and even the bus terminals.

Everything about the guesthouse totally exceeded our expectations and the host was the best person ever - extremely polite and friendly, helped us figure out all the buses we needed, provided every possible information about the sights around, even prepared breakfast in the morning! Would love to visit again!

The House Hostel is located in Sokcho. Free WiFi access is available. The bus terminal is 5 minutes' walk away. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning. This was my very first hostel stay, and although I was initially hesitant when making the reservation, I was completely blown away upon arrival. The place is quaint, charming, and beautifully maintained. The owner was exceptionally warm and helpful. He immediately sat down with me, pulled out a map, and helped plan my itinerary, pointing out the best places to visit and how much time to spend at each. My room was cozy and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and a mini bar refrigerator—perfect for a relaxing stay. The bathroom was fully stocked with essentials like shower gel, shampoo, and even toothpaste, which was a thoughtful touch. What really impressed me was the extra convenience of having access to a secure locker outside the premises, even after I had checked out. That kind of attention to guest comfort is rare and truly appreciated. I highly recommend this hostel. It’s great value for money, and the experience exceeded all my expectations.

Aark House ligger i Gangneung, 28 kilometer fra Pyeongchang olympiske plass, og har boenheter med klimaanlegg, i tillegg til en terrasse. Booked a dorm but the host was generous enough to give me a private room. When I extended my stay, I had to move to a shared room. Had good sleep in both rooms because beds are clean and even have curtains for privacy (in the dorm) Entire place has a homey vibe with pantry/kitchen and cute nooks / small lounge area. Host also took care of my laundry at a reasonable fee.
