He took so good care of us and all the other guests. With his friendly, kind and funny personality he did an absolut brilliant job. The Stay was extremly clean and tidy. Never in my life have u seen such a clean hostel kitchen. The beds were really confortable. The Staff helped us organise a lot of things. We went to safari and surfing. Even saw the leopards! He organised everything and it went perfect and the price was fair. The people he works together do a very good job. He knows the area and the diverent companys and choses the best of them. Also the laundry service was nice. The hostel was social and it was easy to meet new people. Its suited quiet and still very central. I would totally recommend this hostel - i travelled thorugh diverent countrys and this hostel was by far the best. We planned to stay 2 nights and stayed 6 in the end🤗🤗

Nice remodelled property, rooms were clean, ac worked great, plenty of space. The location is great for walking to the main break as well as restaurants nearby. If you need anything (tuktuk/scooter rental, taxi etc) the owners are very happy to help coordinate. The owners are very kind and happy to include you in their local card/board games! Would recommend 👍

Jazz the owner, his family and his staff was very kind and helpful. They can manage lots of services in-house (surf coach, laundry, taxi, etc.). They have even convenience store in-house. So all daily facilities are there for a perfect surf holiday. If you need surf training ask for Risy.

Agra Arugambay has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Arugam Bay. The property is around 200 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, 3.4 km from Muhudu Maha Viharaya and 5.1 km from Crocodile Rock. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were super welcoming. The rooms were super clean. Someone who worked at the hostel even custom makes clothing, which was incredible!

Relaxed atmosphere, great food and the staff are very friendly and attentative, great location right on the beach away from the busier Arugam bay but still only 15-20 minutes in on a scooter or tuk tuk. , we really enjoyed our stay, thanks 😊

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Very nice, place, about 10 minutes walk from the center of Arugam Bay, but they provide free bicycles, so it’s relatively easy to get there. The bungalows are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is filling enough and they provide free yoga sessions every day and also surfing lessons (cost is similar to that in the city).
