The place has had a lot of work done recently and largely appears to be new. Location couldn't get any better and the chaps overseeing the place were real gentleman also.

Jazz and his beautiful family were amazing hosts. First, he arranged a very good taxi with a professional driver(And also a VERY fair price) that took us from Colombo to his resort. I couldn't join my partner at the beginning of our stay and she was alone for the most part during our stay here. Jazz knowing about it, he and his beautiful family, alongside this beautiful Dutch couple, made sure that she would have the best time with various activity and their warm company. Overall, she really enjoyed her stay. He even managed an expedition for her alongside that couple at night, to find exotic animals. On the last day when I arrived, not only was I greeted with the highest of hospitality, but also an exceptionally delicious lunch(you can trust my taste, I'm an Iranian), which wasn't included in our plan at all. Also in the reviews I saw some people found the route to the beach difficult. From my personal experience, that is far from the truth. The resort is less than 100 meters away from the beach, it's just a simple walk. If I come to Arugam Bay again, I'll choose this place 100%.

This is a very special place, not in the loud area of town and very neat and tidy! Beaitiful garden, clean rooms, comfy beds! We loved this small secluded gem! Mohammed and Nasir were the biggest surprise! Very friendly and helpful, even organised a birthday cake for our daughters birthday!!! No problem to big for Mohammed! Surpised us with snacks in the evening and coffee on demand! Will definately recommend!

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

The hotel is phenomenal. The lovely German owner is really accommodating and friendly. The staff are also great. Everything about this place is perfect and if I could give it a 12 I would. We went during the off season (January) so the town was very quiet, which made having this accommodation all the more better.
