Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, The Wave Rooms & Hostel is located in Arugam Bay, 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach. The location is perfect, in the centre of Arugam Bay, with many restaurants, spas and beach enterings nearby. The staff was the best - the owner is truly an amazing and helpful person. It's also great that you can rent a board, buy a lesson with a surfing instructor or organise safari trips with the staff in the hotel and the service is always on point. In the room there is everything you may need, there is also a shared kitchen, a clothes dryer and a shower outside which is convenient after surfing or if you want to cool your drinks in the fridge. The room is comfy and very clean (they also do the cleaning every 2 days), and the AC works well, the bed is also big. Would totally recommend :)

Jazz the owner, his family and his staff was very kind and helpful. They can manage lots of services in-house (surf coach, laundry, taxi, etc.). They have even convenience store in-house. So all daily facilities are there for a perfect surf holiday. If you need surf training ask for Risy.

The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were super welcoming. The rooms were super clean. Someone who worked at the hostel even custom makes clothing, which was incredible!

Beachfront Location: Whisky Point Resort in Arugam Bay offers a private beach area and direct beachfront access. Guests enjoy sea views and a serene garden setting. Everything was perfect. Very friendly staff, the bungalows are very beautiful, clean and stylish, nice beach, very good italian food - we can absolutly recommend that place :)

The best part about this place is Mohammed, he made sure we were always comfortable, he always had delicious snacks for us. The room was really comfortable, with AC and a fan. Just next to the beach, and a really good surf school. Would recommend.

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

Set in Arugam Bay, 300 metres from Pasarichenai Beach, Stay Golden offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Stay Golden is a beautiful and chill place to stay. We loved everything: the room, the pool, the food, the beach, the staff,... we even booked an extra night. It was wonderful. We booked a lagoon boat trip and a safari in Kumana National Park and we were amazed by the amount of animals we've seen. We took a yoga and a pilates class too. Would definitely come back here!!
