I Arugam Kudah, 1 minutters gange fra Arugam Bay og 3,2 kilometer fra Muhudu Maha Viharaya, ligger Tropicana Home Stay. This homestay is operated by the most beautiful family and we honestly can say they set the most exceptionally high standard for Aragum Bay accommodation. We rented 5 rooms and everyone felt the same. Jaz and his family were so helpful with everything from money changing to advising on tuk tuk prices, arranging drivers and any other questions we had. They went above and beyond to help us and nothing was a problem. Even making a birthday cake for one of our group. The rooms are immaculate - so clean with everything we needed. Location is perfect and is in the middle of everything, steps to the beach and even has an attached very well stocked supermarket. Our stay here was such a delight and we really look forward to coming back here. If we could rate this accommodation 10 stars, we absolutely would.

The property is pretty much spotless and located just meters from the Indian Ocean, which means you can hear the waves ALL NIGHT. The staff is super attentive and thoughtful, from the caretakers to the bartenders to the management. I was also pleasantly surprised to find real Neapolitan pizza, a wide selection of Italian wines, and caffè corretto with Sambuca (!) – just when I started missing European flavors a bit ;) And if that wasn’t enough, the yoga classes first thing in the morning put you in a blissful mood. Would definitely come back <3

I Arugam Kudah, bare 0 minutters gange fra Arugam Bay og 3,1 kilometer fra Muhudu Maha Viharaya ligger Lucky Bay. Muhammed som driver stedet er en skikkelig fin fyr. Han er oppmerksom, alltid tilgjengelig og kan ordne alt - surfetimer, brett, transport etc. Vi klikket veldig godt med han, og kommer til savne han og Lucky Bay. Vi bodde der i fire netter, og hver dag ble vi overrasket med Sri lankiske pannekaker, te, fersk mango fra hjemmet hans etc.

Wonderful property and host! Iqbal and his staff were so warm and welcoming! They went above and beyond making sure I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay! I was welcomed with delicious pineapple juice and a pastry. I ended extending my stay because it was such a warm and cozy place to spend a few days at the beach. Beach access is a few meters away. Iqbal also arranged surf lessons to peanut farm and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Best surf coach I’ve ever had! The room was very clean and spacious with hangers for wet clothes and storage. The hammocks outside each room are a very nice touch and relaxing. Each morning, the breakfast was very good and tasty! Lots of fresh fruit! Whatever you need, Iqbal and his team will take care of. Had a lot of nice chats with Iqbal. He will be missed! Wish I could stay for longer. Will definitely be back to this cozy piece of paradise.

I Arugam Kudah, 3 minutters gange fra Pasarichenai Beach, ligger Stay Golden, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering, et utendørsbasseng og en hage. Highly recommended! A family of five. We had the most wonderful time at Stay Golden. Angie and Rihan, the charming couple who owns the place, have created a small microcosmos with everything we needed. Other than going out to surf, we barely left the complex. Rihan gave the kids surfing lessons and pointed the more experienced surfers of our bunch to the right surfing spots. Thank you!

Very relaxed atmosphere and run by some great people who made you feel like part of the family. Excellent value for money and delicious home cooked breakfasts (a different one every day!!)
