Set within 800 metres of Tangalle Beach and 18 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole in Tangalle, Hanguk Lanka Lagoon Villa provides accommodation with seating area. By far the best accommodation we experienced in Sri Lanka. The beautiful garden with palm trees and lovingly arranged hammocks is absolutely stunning. We stayed in our own private wooden bungalow with a view over the open garden beneath the palms, perfectly equipped and very cozy. Outside, there were sun loungers and chairs, and the space truly invited us to practice yoga. It was actually the only place in Sri Lanka where we felt completely private and undisturbed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we didn’t miss a thing. The host was always available, incredibly kind, and very helpful. The food was excellent, with very generous portions. We were completely full every time. He even gave us a flashlight so we could see the turtles on the beach at night and offered us his scooter to go into town. If you really want to slow down, relax, and enjoy Tangalle at its best, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended.
