One of the highlights was the candlelight dinner on the beach: very romantic and a truly special experience. If you’re looking for a quiet escape in the middle of nature, this is the perfect place.

The family room is comfortable and large, great cabana with beautiful greens, it’s only 2 minutes walking to the beach, the local breakfast was delicious and generous portion. Staff is very kind and helpful we loved everything.

We stayed at Omkara at the end of our Sri Lanka trip, it was the perfect end to a very varied holiday. The cabin is very spacious with a comfortable bed, and the outdoor bathroom is great - especially at night time seeing all the stars above! The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The stand out feature of Omkara has to be the swimming pool. It is big enough (I'd say 20-25 metres) to really have a proper swim, and it is clean and very inviting!

The surroundings are perfect for wildlife watching and have beautiful sandy beaches. If you’re not a fan of crowded places and want to feel a deep connection with nature and people, look no further—Hanguk Lanka Villa will be a great choice. Great and very helpful hosts.

Incredible location on a secluded beach. Looked after well by kind and friendly hosts. Had a great surfing lesson arranged by Nadee and also hired paddle boards from him. Fantastic breakfasts which varied every day and were delicious. Big room, comfy bed, very clean. Definitely recommend!
