My wife, our two-year-old son, and I just returned from the most incredible stay at Lankavatara Ocean Retreat & Spa, and we can’t stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in tranquility and treated like royalty. First and foremost, the food was absolutely outstanding, thanks to the incredibly talented Chef! Every meal was a culinary masterpiece, using fresh, local ingredients and showcasing the vibrant flavors of Sri Lanka. Our son is a picky eater, but the chef was always happy to whip up something special just for him, which was such a relief for us! The hotel management, especially the General Manager, truly sets this place apart. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction is remarkable. They were always available to answer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure that our stay was perfect in every way. I also have to give a huge shout-out to the housekeeping staff. Our room was always impeccably clean and tidy, and they were so thoughtful about anticipating our needs as a family with a young child. It made our stay so much more comfortable and relaxing. And let’s not forget the beautiful gardens! The grounds were meticulously maintained by a dedicated gardener who clearly takes pride in his work. The lush greenery and vibrant flowers created a serene and picturesque setting that we thoroughly enjoyed. Finally, the receptionist was a wealth of information! He patiently answered all our questions about local life, customs, and traditions, giving us a deeper understanding and appreciation of the area. Lankavatara Ocean Retreat & Spa truly exceeded all our expectations. It’s a haven of peace and relaxation with exceptional service, delicious food, and stunning surroundings. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway, especially families with young children. Thank you, Lankavatara, for creating such a magical experience for us! Good Karma Hotel ligger ved Rekawa Beach i Tangelle og har et utendørsbasseng og gratis Wi-Fi overalt. Du kan parkere avgiftsfritt på stedet, og resepsjonen er døgnåpen. Beautiful private beach, really nice stuff, always willing to help. Scooter was rented through the hotel with no poblems. Cooked food was really tasty.

I Tangalle, 7 minutters gange fra Tangalle strand, ligger Omkara Rekawa, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en restaurant. Swimming pool is amazing. It’s long enough for active swimmers, nicely illuminated in the night. They have best chef and the best food. Since there’re only 4 cabins it’s super peaceful and quiet. Staff is very helpful with whatever you think of (transport option or massage).

Could not recommend it more. We've got everything we needed. There was hot water with powerful steam, A/C, adapters for electricity. You can also order breakfast, lunch and dinner for really fair prices. The property is located in a very peaceful and beautiful area with peacocks and nature all around you. We've got privacy and the owners were very helpful, kind and sweet. We also rented a scooter from them. When we arrived we were offered a welcome drink which was very pleasant. When we were leaving they also arranged a tuk-tuk for us to go to the bus station. If you have a chance to stay here - do it. It was one of the best stays in Sri Lanka. We feel thankful and we would be happy to come back one day.

This place has very good location, ciosem to the beach and city centre. Garden is very beautiful, room is big and has everything what needed. There is albo kitcgem which you can use and preper own food. But the most important and the Best is owner and his friendly and helpfull family. Easygoing People with big talent to cooking. Amaising breakfast with ice cream🙂. I full rekompensuje Basu and his place. It was pleasure to spend time in this place with lovely owner.. One day i will come back there
