Such a peaceful place and very clean and comfortable room. The staff is kind and friendly. 2 minutes away from the beach, but if you don't mind walking there are so many different locations to swim and enjoy the sun if you are not into kite surfing. Breakfast is great! I totally recommend it!

The room was super clean, and the beach is lovely! The restaurant has the best food, and the service is really flexible. Shewon was super helpful too. Definitely recommend for a chill getaway! 🌊🏄‍♂️

Sandy Edge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kalpitiya, 400 metres from Kudawa Beach. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. We really liked this accommodation. Although it is not right on the sea, the sand made it feel like it. The owner is very helpful, always trying to help us and asking if everything was okay. He arranged a dolphin watching trip for us, which was one of the most amazing moments in all of Sri Lanka.

We had the best time staying at Wild Wadi Wilpattu. The property is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the Wilpattu park entrance which not only means you can easily book a safari but you also experience some incredible wild life just steps outside your door. We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!
