The staff was really nice. Special note on Mr.Vasiharan, a person you should really meet. His hospitality is at highest. The local and Indian food are yum. One of the best accommodation we can recommend for anyone. Rooms are so spacious and bathroom with new utilities. 10mins walking distance to the beach. A must experience place in trinco🥰

Facing the beachfront, Uppuveli Beach by DSK offers 5-star accommodation in Trincomalee and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre. Comfortable, clean resort with very attentive staff. Everything was delivered as advertised. Direct access to the beach and fairly spacious hotel pool. Visited in mid October the resort was not crowded at all.

Laxsume Guest House Nilaveli is set in Nilaveli, 600 metres from Nilaveli Beach, 3.8 km from Pigeon Island National Park, and 8.5 km from Velgam Vehera. Very nice people and fair price. Clean and spacious rooms. I recommend their restaurant.

I really enjoyed my little chats with him. The restaurant offers great meals. His staff members, especially Justin, were super attentive and took good care of us. The garden is huge and well looked after.

They can also arrange some activities for you, and you can do snorkeling starting from the beach 3 miin away if you have your equipment

The atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming—complete with friendly cats, chickens wandering through the garden, and a homely ambience that truly made us feel “at home” . They went above and beyond by helping arrange tuk‑tuks, and transfers, you name it—with helpful, local insider knowledge .
