Situated in Nosy Be and with Ambatoloaka Beach reachable within a few steps, BLUE VELVET features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Absolutely everything was amazing and above and beyond. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and clean. The restaurant downstairs does great food and I particularly enjoyed the breakfast. The location was great for both the pick ups to the day trips to nearby islands and also for a walk along the Main Street in the evening. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The room was spotless and beautifully maintained — it felt so good to come back after a day at the beach or exploring to a fresh, clean space. That little detail made such a difference. And we can’t forget the two amazing dogs, Pilou and Naya, who instantly made us feel at home! So friendly and sweet, they added an extra touch of warmth to the whole experience. This place truly exceeded all expectations. We’d go back in a heartbeat! Thank you!

This is a wonderful relaxing retreat if you are visiting Nosy Be. It's outside of the city so it's quiet and peaceful but you can easily get a tuktuk into town. The beach is just steps away. There's a complete kitchen with oil and salt and plenty of cutlery and dishes so you can make a meal. The breakfasts are delicious.The hosts are welcoming and multi -lingual Malagasy and French and some English, maybe others.

We spent 19 nights travelling around Madagascar and Anki Lodge was hands-down our favourite place. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and always smiling – they really made us feel at home. But the absolute highlight was the food: honestly the best meals we had during the entire trip! Fresh, delicious, and full of flavour every single day. The lodge itself is set in a beautiful, peaceful environment with a lovely garden and a great swimming pool – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Special mention to the owner who is wonderful: warm, attentive and clearly passionate about making every guest’s stay special. It’s a place where you can really relax, rest, and take full advantage of you holiday in Nosy Be. It’s peaceful and quiet, clean, well managed and you will experience some of the best sunsets in the whole Madagascar. They also help you with everything you need, advice on excursions, meals, transfers. Staying in one of the huts was beautiful and you get to wake up with a great view over the sea and the mangroves.

Located near Djamandjara on Nosy Be, Hotel Mahita Tsara is a 5-minute walk from the beach and set above the village of Cocotiers. It offers air conditioning and a restaurant. This placed exceeded our expectations, it is so beautiful, picturesque, it has a chill atmosphere, it is so so conformable, I can just stay here writing positive adjectives to describe it. The view from both the room and the pool is unbelievable, it mesmerizes you. The staff is friendly, even though we did not spoke french they were so professional and tried to communicate with us in the best way possible. You can order breakfast, lunch or diner and it will be served in your room since there is no restaurant. We loved this option, we had dinner every night there, it is so private, plus you have the beautiful view. Booking advertises this a 2 stars hotel, but honestly this place is way better than 4 starts hotels I have stayed at. With no hesitation I would recommend this place.
