The suite turned out to be a lovely small apartment with a living room, and a separate sleeping area, even had a small kitchen. The workmanship in the suite was extraordinary, the mattress was outstanding, and the views were everything expected from the pictures. I enjoyed getting to know the owners, and Mitch speaks perfect English. I had a wonderful time.

The breakfasts are delicious.The hosts are welcoming and multi -lingual Malagasy and French and some English, maybe others.

But the absolute highlight was the food: honestly the best meals we had during the entire trip! Fresh, delicious, and full of flavour every single day. The lodge itself is set in a beautiful, peaceful environment with a lovely garden and a great swimming pool – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Special mention to the owner who is wonderful: warm, attentive and clearly passionate about making every guest’s stay special. If you’re visiting Nosy Be (or anywhere nearby), don’t think twice – stay at Anki Lodge. We can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s peaceful and quiet, clean, well managed and you will experience some of the best sunsets in the whole Madagascar. They also help you with everything you need, advice on excursions, meals, transfers. Staying in one of the huts was beautiful and you get to wake up with a great view over the sea and the mangroves.

Located near Djamandjara on Nosy Be, Hotel Mahita Tsara is a 5-minute walk from the beach and set above the village of Cocotiers. It offers air conditioning and a restaurant. Very clean and well-appointed Hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and the bathroom was amazing. Customer service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. Everybody is willing to help. Kudos to the management and especially Edwina- The front desk manager and the owner. Took great care of everything. Highly recommend!
