Beautiful hotel, very clean, close proximity to everything, we never took any taxis and just walked to town every evening. Good breakfast. Friendly staff, quick response to special requests. The only downside was the bar and very limited selection of drinks.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel Solana Bacalar Lakefront offers 4-star accommodation in Bacalar and features a garden, private beach area and terrace. Extremely beautiful location, right at one of the most beautiful spots of the lagoon with turquoise water. Perfect spot to go for a swim, relax on the terrace, or paddle out with one of the free kayaks. The room was small but very comfortable. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. One night, I asked for a hairdryer, and they went above and beyond to get me one to use that night. The next morning, they even installed a hairdryer in my room! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. What a treat to have it on the beautiful terrace by the lake. They also have a restaurant where you can buy lunch, dinner and snacks. A perfect spot to relax and unwind!

Porto Blu is situated in Puerto Morelos and has a rooftop pool and sea views. It is located a few steps from Playa Puerto Morelos and features a lift. The apartment features family rooms. Everything was excellent about our stay here including the location within minutes of the town square.

La Palma Holbox is situated in Holbox Island, within 400 metres of Playa Holbox and 2.5 km of Punta Coco. Everything from the staff to the size of the room. Best value for money that I’ve had

Attractively located in the centre of Playa del Carmen, SUUT Hostal Boutique features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Staff is very kind and helpful , especially that one from Argentina! Perfect location, amazing breakfast (only 2 of days was more basic) ! Will come again!

Facing the beachfront, Amaranto Bacalar Hotel Boutique offers 5-star accommodation in Bacalar and has an outdoor swimming pool, private beach area and terrace. A beautiful new boutique hotel right on the edge of the lagoon . All of the fittings were of high quality and our room was large and comfortable with a wonderful view over the lagoon . Great to watch the sunrise every morning. The breakfast served every morning was delicious and the staff were wonderful. We enjoyed using the kayaks and there were also SUPs available for guest use . The hotel is very near to Cenote Azul which was beautiful for swimming . We also enjoyed visiting Los Rapidos and exploring the centre of Bacalar .
