Great location; right at the centre and by the seaside. I was checking in at 5pm but the room wasnt ready. They were kind enough to upgrade and add complementary breakfast. Its not about the freebies but going above and beyond to show you care.

AJ Residence - Above Peppermint Asia City is located in Kota Kinabalu, less than 1 km from Filipino Market Sabah, 2.8 km from Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village, as well as 5.5 km from North Borneo... Very clean en nicely decorated room. There was also enough space and the bed was very comfy. Also close to shops and restaurants. There is a foodcourt downstairs where you can eat local food. The hosts where very kind and make sure you have a great stay. Would recommend!
