Facing the seafront in Altagracia, La Sirenita - Ometepe has a garden and a bar. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 6.2 km from Maderas Volcano. Beautiful views, excellent staff and we loved all the natural beauty of the property. Would stay again on my next visit to Omeptepe. The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

It's such a beautiful and quiet spot, the staff was incredibly friendly and all facilities and rooms were spot clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor showers and the pets were adorable as well

Rocks Beach provides a garden, as well as accommodation with a kitchen in Balgue, 12 km from Maderas Volcano. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The location was amazing, right on the water. Fell asleep and woke up to the waves crashing against the shore every night. There is a gorgeous and spacious back deck with hammocks and chairs and it’s covered from the sun. We spent full days while recovering from long travel or hiking conception just reading in the hammocks and relaxing! The shared kitchen is amazing, has everything you need. The people staying here at the same time as us were incredible and fun to chat with. The host was extremely helpful and kind, quick to answer questions and give helpful tips or help you to arrange things! The price of this stay is incredible! We could have stayed for so much longer!

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of garden, Hostal Así es mi Tierra is located in Balgue, 12 km from Maderas Volcano. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking.... You can tell this hostel was put together over years with care and attention. Furniture is all handmade by local craftsmen, for example. I spent way too much time in one rocking chair that I wanted to take home with me. Estelle the owner and her family give it a very homey touch. Filtered water is free! Highly recommend it.

Located in Altagracia, a few steps from Santo Domingo Beach, Xalli Beach Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful to us, specially Carlos which we had the chance to share some time with him. The room was nice, the AC was working smoothly and almost noiseless, the shower had hot and cold water with a good amount of water and the hotel itself was feeling really peaceful, with a nice garden area with some chickens around. To us, after some days in cabins and eco houses, having nice walls and some crystal windows was what we were looking for. The lake is just at one side and you can see it while having breakfast, which by the way is pretty good. The place is close to some interest points of the island. I can only recommend the place.

Located in Balgue, 12 km from Maderas Volcano, Lazy Crab Hostel has a private beach area, private parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Breakfast was great everyday I was there. We get 3 options, made to order and delicious. Staff was attentive and delivered the plate to the table. Free coffee included. Scooter rentals on site. Great views from the top terrace. Right in town where you can find food options, and fruits and vegetable stands at walking distance. Staff cleaned bathrooms and common areas everyday in the morning.
