Secluded and peaceful. Our bungalow was right on the water where my wife and I watched the sunset from our bed. The area is lush and tropical with several species of plants and fruit trees. Great bird and duck watching. There's a bar here and a kitchen for preparing food. There is power and wifi. All our needs were met and we highly recommend. Perfect place for nature enthusiasts.

The name says it all. Couldn’t find a more tranquil place than here. Daniella and Tony are awesome hosts! Only a short walk to town, yet far enough away to emerce yourself in nature.

It was really unique and super cute. The space is large and comfortable. It had a view of the lake, and there was a little path you could walk down to the water.

This is a working farm as others have mentioned. It is a little more remote which is part of its charm. Our hosts were amazing and the food fresh and delicious. The bed was comfortable and we loved hearing the monkeys.if you go to this delightful Finca and see a kitten named manana give her a kiss for me!

The location was amazing, right on the water. Fell asleep and woke up to the waves crashing against the shore every night. There is a gorgeous and spacious back deck with hammocks and chairs and it’s covered from the sun. We spent full days while recovering from long travel or hiking conception just reading in the hammocks and relaxing! The shared kitchen is amazing, has everything you need. The people staying here at the same time as us were incredible and fun to chat with. The host was extremely helpful and kind, quick to answer questions and give helpful tips or help you to arrange things! The price of this stay is incredible! We could have stayed for so much longer!

Nastanitev Hostal Así es mi Tierra se nahaja v mestu Balgue, 12 km od znamenitosti vulkan Maderas, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. We loved the relaxed vibe and how everything is set up and decorated, it's really really beautiful and we enjoyed just sitting around on our porch immensely! the location is great as it's away from the crazy hostel stuff but not too far with tons of great local places near by. Getting to all parts of the island from Balgue was ideal as well and everywhere you turn you see one of the volcanoes since you're right in between them. If you turn right from the place you get back into the main hostel area in a few minutes (on bike) and if you turn left you find really beautiful roadways and scenery and you can get away from all the "traveler" stuff. Cafe compestre is just down the street (2 min walking) where you can get a really really good cappuccino. My boyfriend also got a haircut across the street haha. The food they made us was so so so good (our favorite if we HAD to pick was probably the burritos, and they make some of the best smoothies on the island). we were also able to get our moto bike and kayaking through the family as well, and everything was a really good price and easy. On day 4 or so we found a hole in the tire which they fixed in just a couple hours and they didn't charge us which we really appreciated. There was a power outage one evening (it happens on the island from time to time) and they set us up with a candlelit dinner and we just loved that (picture below). The family who owns this are truly wonderful people and we felt really at home, possibly too at home as we were supposed to stay 5 nights and we stayed 9 or 10 😂. I usually got up early and worked a few hours in the balcony seating area with a coffee or smoothie, so can confirm working here is also no problem. For context, I was working fully online building a webpage with large files so internet needed to be really functioning well, and it was :)

I booked with incorrect dates and the owners was so nice to offer us a family room, that saved our stay. The restaurants breakfast was amazing.

The staff was amazing and super accommodating. Very kind and friendly. Helped us out with moto rentals and the food was good.
