The absolute highlight was the breathtaking view of the fjord from our window—truly unforgettable and worth the trip in itself. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff were consistently friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a great variety beyond the traditional options. Alongside eggs, sausages, and beans, they even served IKEA-style meatballs, which added a fun and unexpected touch. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and we highly recommend exploring the nearby hiking trails—it was well worth the effort. Overall, a fantastic experience that we’d happily repeat!

This family-run hostel lies by Lake Vangsvatnet, 1 km from the village of Voss. It has a TV lounge and a communal kitchen. Free WiFi is available in common areas. The breakfast is very healthy and delicious, organic as well! Many vegetables and berries come from the local region and plenty of other foods are homemade. The hostel also has a private beach and grassland. Moreover, guests can use the Sauna with a discounted price. The lake view is perfect!!

Mother and daughter and the student chefs are making this stay so wonderfull. The diner was made with local ingrediënts. The story behind this hotel was told by the daughter on such a nice way. So friendly, so open, so welcoming. The breakfast was a gem, with pancackes, local marmelade, eggs, etc… worth to stay here again.
