Møsstrond Turisthytte is a recently renovated aparthotel in Hovden, where guests can make the most of its fitness centre and garden. What a lovely historical place! We had a great time with my family in this cozy traditional cabin surrounded by the beautiful norwegian nature. You can even see the Gaustatoppen in the distance. We walked 15 min to the local top with 360 view and watched a sunset on a cliff. We stayed in a cabin with shared facilities, big lounge areas, and it has everything you need in the kitchen, fridge room, washing room etc. even room with food to buy. It is a perfect place for big families & groups too. I wish we had more time to swim with kano that they allow to borrow, and time to fish in this fish-rich lake! If you searching for not only a stay in a peaceful beautiful place but also for a lovely experience - this is s place. Thank you to the hosts for warm welcome!

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Stor hytte med 4 soverom og panoramautsikt over Tinnsjøen ved Rjukan og Gaustatoppen is set in Håkånes. I stayed here for five nights with my dog. The house directly overlooks the lake and has a wonderful view. There is a large terrace to enjoy the view and access to the outside is very easy. The interior of the house is really beautiful. Furnished with care, with many interesting items. The spacious kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything you need. The dishwasher works perfectly. The sofa is big and very comfortable and there is also a fireplace. I slept in the bedroom on the ground floor, in a comfortable and warm bed. Upstairs there are three other rooms and a bathroom, with a washing machine, and also from the terrace there is a magnificent view. We had nice walks in the surroundings and it was very relaxing. Lena is a very helpful and efficient host. I highly recommend this apartment and will definitely stay there again one day!
