This family-run hostel lies by Lake Vangsvatnet, 1 km from the village of Voss. It has a TV lounge and a communal kitchen. Free WiFi is available in common areas. First the breakfast was amazing! Most of the products are from their farm and organic. Second, the room is clean and quite. We were 3 people but it can fit to 5. Stuff was very helpful. The public areas are enough. The view was excellent!

They put on an evening meal which is extra but definitely worth it. The food was excellent and was served by the owners daughter. During the meal she told us all stories about the history of the hotel and about the professional chefs that work there. She even gave us a tour of the hotel. This is a small, old hotel but is very nice. The room was large and had modern facilities in the bathroom and the bed was comfortable. There is no elevator so we had to negotiate the old creaky stairs but in this case it added to the charm of the place.
