An added bonus was the evening meal prepared by a local chef - the option to have this should be taken whenever it is available, the meal and the whole experience around it was superb. A perfect location for lakeside walks and as a base for cycling on local trails such as the Dunstan Lake Trail. For wildlife enthusiasts, rare birds such as the Australian Crested Grebe nest just a few tens of meters from the room.

The Salty Bushman B&B ima popločani dio dvorišta s pogledom na more, zajednički salon i opremu za roštilj te se nalazi u gradu 'Kaka Point' blizu znamenitosti Plaža Port Molyneux i na 15 min hoda od... The Salty Bushman is absolutely fantastic. We spent three nights there and were truly impressed by how beautiful the place is. Ronél is a warm and friendly host and we really enjoyed chatting with her. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and offers a lovely continental breakfast. We felt completely at home in this cozy space. It was incredibly relaxing to sit on the couch and enjoy the stunning sea view. It’s new and clean. Even my cottage needs to use common bath facility, the facility is very clean and convenient, except going to toilet in the middle of night on a rainy day😝. The lake is just in front of the room so it’s very relaxing feeing on sitting at the balcony.

The apartment is the perfect place if you need a base from which to explore the Catlins or just want to make a stopover. It is furnished with everything you need for a short stay and everything is new and very tidy. But the very best thing is the great view of the sea!
