An added bonus was the evening meal prepared by a local chef - the option to have this should be taken whenever it is available, the meal and the whole experience around it was superb. A perfect location for lakeside walks and as a base for cycling on local trails such as the Dunstan Lake Trail. For wildlife enthusiasts, rare birds such as the Australian Crested Grebe nest just a few tens of meters from the room.

The Salty Bushman is absolutely fantastic. We spent three nights there and were truly impressed by how beautiful the place is. Ronél is a warm and friendly host and we really enjoyed chatting with her. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and offers a lovely continental breakfast. We felt completely at home in this cozy space. It was incredibly relaxing to sit on the couch and enjoy the stunning sea view. The unit had wonderful views from the deck and through the sliding glass doors out to the beach/sea. I was sad to leave.
