I loved that it is locally owned, Abigail, JR and their family are such lovely people and so hospitable, welcoming and helpful. The children are so sweet and the family do everything to make your stay more comfortable. Also the backpackers I met at this hostel were the best!! It definitely draws a certain kind of traveller. The chill out places are lovely, dorm room is huge, big double beds and awesome sunrise views if the weather is right! Also love the friendly and weird ginger cat and wifi worked well!

Set in Mambajao, a few steps from Agoho Beach, Bahandi Beach Lodge offers accommodation with a garden and free private parking. We loved this place. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but very clean and there is a lovely additional communal area to chill in too. A scooter whilst not essential is the best way to get around the island, not my favourite mode of transport, but the roads are in reasonable condition and not at all busy. The property arranged for our pick up from the airport in a tricycle (super cheap and convenient) and Nana was super helpful in arranging a scooter for us after we arrived.

Situated close to the beach, Balai sa Baibai offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. The resort is amazing, very well manteined in every detail. The staff is very welcoming and nice, always happy to support. Alex and Romain, the owners, welcomed us like old friends, making us feel at home. We have also been very lucky as we were the only two guests temporarily hosted in the resort, so we had the chance to enjoy it a lot.

Offering a private beach area on Agoho Beach, SomeWhere Else Boutique Resort features air-conditioned villas with sea views and free WiFi. Our stay was amazing. Boutique villas that you can tell a lot of thought went into, tons of detail and a very cool vibe. Rooms had high ceilings, were cleaned each day with available water and coffee. The breakfast each morning was great brought right to your outside bed. The whole property is gorgeous, warm lights hanging from palm trees with friendly dogs and cats roaming around. Dark sand beach right in front of the villas that have a great sunset view as well. Jerome the owner was awesome, you can really tell he cares about his guests. So much value, you can’t go wrong staying here.

Balihao Resort features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Mambajao. Guests can enjoy international dishes at the restaurant or have a cocktail at the bar. This is one of the best resorts in Camiguin - if not the best. You will not see many reviews because it is a brand new resort. That worried me a bit initially. But after getting there it was obvious this is a great place to stay in the island.

Txaleta de Camiguin desde 2024 has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Mambajao. This 3-star homestay offers a private beach area and full-day security. Everything was exceptional! The place is organized and clean, the tent is spacious and with so many details to make you feel welcomed and taken care! The owners and all the staff are lovely, and the food was also super good. It was seriously one of the best places we stayed.
