There’s a fantastic open communal area and kitchen which is spotless and overlooks the water. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds and the private rooms have lovely decks with hammocks or outdoor seating. What really makes this place is the people who are delightful and go well out of their way to make everything perfect for you!

Featuring a balcony with sea views, pool with a view and a garden, Mantaray Siargao can be found in General Luna, close to General Luna Beach and 1.7 km from Malinao Beach. My husband and I can not give the Mantaray Siargao enough stars in the world. Everything, and I mean everything about this accomodation exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. Fresh coconuts and a bottle of champagne on arrival, fresh mangos and bananas in the fridge waiting to be devoured, a tour of the beautiful home and a beautiful family who were just invested in our lives, yet respected your space whilst we were there. Joseph, Elvira and Lala were an absolute delight to contact, before, during and after our stay and were always available if we needed anything however would give us the space on the property if we desired it. The property itself was a dream. It was in a prime location, just on the edge of town so it was so peaceful and full of serenity, yet only a 5 minute scooter ride along the main road for incredible restaurants, dive centres and little corner stores. The price of a hire scooter from Joseph is better than you will get anywhere in town and they were really safe and reliable! The surrounding gardens were a horticultures dream and the amount of love and work that Elvira has put into the grounds over the years is shown by how spectacular they are. The pool is such a treat and I would recommend getting up for sunrise, which happens right in front of the property on the beach, and are like nothing I have ever seen before. I left my kindle under the pillow the day of our departure and the team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get it back to me before my flight. Joseph drove the 30 minutes to the airport and raced in just to make sure I was reunited with it whilst Elvira was contacting me via WhatsApp to let me know Jo was on his way, all whilst I was completely unaware that I had left it behind. Again, Joseph and Elvira are not only incredible hosts, but the most genuine people and we could not recommend The Mantaray enough. We can not wait to come again.

This place is great. nothing to complain. 3 minutes walk to the beach and bars/restaurants. Ruben was very helpful with all belongings...he did everything possible to make our stay perfect! Set in General Luna, 700 metres from General Luna Beach, Fat Lips Surf Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Fat Lips Surf Lodge. I felt incredibly well-taken care of from the very beginning. The crew (Din and Julius) helped organize everything, from airport transfers and SIM card purchases to tour arrangements. The accommodations were very clean and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the desk and office chair made remote work easy. The freshly ground Filipino coffee was a wonderful bonus, perfect for starting the morning. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet you’re a five-minute walk from many delicious restaurants. I felt right at home, and Din (as she mentioned at the beginning) was like my best friend during this trip. This place is a hidden gem; I'll be back!
