Our plan was to stay only a few days, but we fell in love with both the island and this accommodation — and ended up staying for a couple of weeks. We were lucky enough to spend Christmas and New Year here, which made the experience even more special. Christmas was beautifully arranged with great attention to detail, creating a warm, cozy and truly heartfelt atmosphere. The food truly deserves a special mention. Throughout our stay it was diverse, delicious and thoughtfully prepared. There was plenty of variety, the quality was consistently excellent, and every meal felt like it was made with care and love. The island offers everything you need while still remaining peaceful and close to nature. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful, calming and full of positive energy. We stayed in several different rooms during our visit, and every single one was excellent — clean, comfortable and well air-conditioned. No matter which room we stayed in, it was always easy to relax and sleep well. The owners deserve the biggest thanks. They are incredibly kind, genuine people, and the help and care we received from them went far beyond our expectations. It truly felt more like staying with friends than being guests. And the best part — you don’t need a big budget to enjoy all of this. The value for money here is exceptional. If you are looking for – peace and quiet – beautiful nature – friendly people – joy and laughter …this is the place for you. We will definitely return. Julia & Joni ❤️

At very short notice the owners were able to accommodate me. The room is very clean and comfortable with good AC and Wifi. The location is very close to BonBon beach and the port. The affiliated restaurant is also fantastic.

Amazing views and location. Really clean and well maintained. Rose is a great host and was very helpful and friendly. Loved drinking coffee on the balcony in the morning and watching the boats fishing. And the sunsets in the evening are beautiful!

We came to Romblon because of its reputation as an excellent place for macro and super-macro diving. We chose the Sunset Cove Resort, and we were delighted by the professional dive center located at the resort. On top of that, their chef is a culinary genius, the swimming pool is lovely and cleaned daily, and the rooms are spacious with great design and are kept tidy and clean. This is a very small resort that really knows how to treat its guests - it’s very much a hidden gem!

The place is run by the very nice and helpful Filipino/German couple Marevic (Marie) and Uwe. They will help you in organising everything from a day trip to Cresta De Gallo (for 3500 pesos as of March 2024) to the transfer back to Magdiwang if you have to catch a ferry to leave this spectacular yet relaxed island. Two well equipped and modern bungalows in a beautiful garden make you instantly feel home away from home. Marevic handles everything food related and Uwe is the facility manager. Even if there is a brownout on the island: no worries, solar powered batteries will take care of the situation. So you will never be long without light - or Wi-Fi… 😉 Don’t forget to try the homemade icecream. My favourite was Ube (some slightly salty sort of beetroot in a deep purple colour). The continental breakfast is delicious and after weeks of instant coffee I especially enjoyed the filter coffee. The bread with jam was also very nice. My favourite for dinner was the tasty burger. The meals can either be enjoyed on your own patio or in a bamboo shack right in front of the beach with Cresta De Gallo in the distance.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tinaoog Beach Resort. Our many questions before our trip were answered quickly and helpfully. The warm welcome by Criss and her staff was really appreciated after a long day of travelling and we settled into our immaculately clean and comfortable bungalow. My Husband has to eat gluten free and Criss went out of her way to ensure that he had plenty of options, and the food was absolutely incredible. There is no menu as such but plenty of options are offered depending on what they have on the day, including fresh fish, octopus, pork and chicken. Extremely tasty, Criss is such a great chef. My Husband had a massage every day and thought they were the best massages he has had, the masseuse is such a lovely kind and warm lady. Great snorkelling in the house reef. We didn't want to leave, and felt very sad to say goodbye. Could not have wished for a better stay, it was perfect and great value for money.
