Everything was absolutely perfect! The property was spotless, and the room was super clean and cozy, with all the comforts. The garden and the beach in the resort are also amazing! Patricia and Jerome, the wonderful hosts, were so kind—always smiling, available, and genuinely keen to make the stay unforgettable. Thy provide also a quick and affordable laundry service, which was super handy. Plus, they’re willing to wait for the RoRo to arrive and pick up guests at the port anytime (sadly, I didn’t know this and booked another place since my ferry arrived late at night). The restaurant was super convenient, with tasty food and helpful staff. And the location? Absolutely stunning—a true feast for the eyes and soul! The nearby beaches are so beautiful; they’ll stay in your heart forever. An unforgettable vacation, and I’ll definitely be back!

When we booked this accommodation it seemed almost to good to be true. But the villa surpassed our expectations. Beautifully located on the southern part of Carabao Island overlooking the see and with a view on Boracay. There was plenty of space and everything was very clean and in good working order. The pool was nice especially for sunsets. The spacious terrace was the best place to be, with always a refreshing breeze. Our host Rose is a gem. She picked us up from San Jose and did eveything to make our stay unforgetable.

We came to Romblon because of its reputation as an excellent place for macro and super-macro diving. We chose the Sunset Cove Resort, and we were delighted by the professional dive center located at the resort. On top of that, their chef is a culinary genius, the swimming pool is lovely and cleaned daily, and the rooms are spacious with great design and are kept tidy and clean. This is a very small resort that really knows how to treat its guests - it’s very much a hidden gem!

Haus am Strand auf Sibuyan Island nahe Cresta de Gallo - Marevic's Guesthouse 1 ohne Klimaanlage localiza-se em Azagra, na região de Luzon, e tem um pátio e vista do jardim. The place is run by the very nice and helpful Filipino/German couple Marevic (Marie) and Uwe. They will help you in organising everything from a day trip to Cresta De Gallo (for 3500 pesos as of March 2024) to the transfer back to Magdiwang if you have to catch a ferry to leave this spectacular yet relaxed island. Two well equipped and modern bungalows in a beautiful garden make you instantly feel home away from home. Marevic handles everything food related and Uwe is the facility manager. Even if there is a brownout on the island: no worries, solar powered batteries will take care of the situation. So you will never be long without light - or Wi-Fi… 😉 Don’t forget to try the homemade icecream. My favourite was Ube (some slightly salty sort of beetroot in a deep purple colour). The continental breakfast is delicious and after weeks of instant coffee I especially enjoyed the filter coffee. The bread with jam was also very nice. My favourite for dinner was the tasty burger. The meals can either be enjoyed on your own patio or in a bamboo shack right in front of the beach with Cresta De Gallo in the distance.
