The room was just what we needed. We were only there for one night, but had plenty of room to store items (places to hang clothes if needed, etc). There were overhead lights, as well as nice bedside lighting. The room included a mini-split unit and remote, so we had heat and cooling when needed. There was a loft bed, which would have been great if we had a young child traveling with us. We had a small patio with a small table and two chairs (we would have used it if the weather was nicer). The husband and wife that own and run it were fabulous. The included breakfast was delicious, included breads, home-made eggs (not the gross stuff you can get at some larger hotels), meat, cheeses, oatmeal, yogurt, juices, coffee. The location was great, in the center of the village, and a short walk to the beach.

Great location, spotless small hotel with comfortable bed and nice modern bathroom. Secure parking on premises for 5 euros a night, space permitting. The breakfast was very good and all the staff are charming and helpful. We will definitely return again.

El Marina Charming House, situado en el centro de Figueira da Foz, a 3 minutos a pie del casino de Figueira, ofrece alojamiento, terraza y vistas al mar, el puerto deportivo y el río Mondego. Everything was amazing, 15/10! 😄 Staff women were so loving and generous, it felt like home. Breakfast is rich, everything tastes great, room is so clean, well equiped and comfy. We even got beach towels because we didn’t brought any.
