Pensiunea Poiana Dornei has a private beach area, garden, a tennis court and barbecue facilities in Vatra Dornei. The house has is new, everything was spottles clean! There were only 6 or 7 rooms for rent, but the house itself is quite big, with a large common kitchen/dining area and a huge yard, with tables, external wooden jacuzzi, kids playground, BBQ area, tennis court and a large green-grass lawn, that our husky loved even more than we did! The hosts were really nice, down-to-earth people! They didn't speak English, but were able to communicate with ease thanks to Google translate. The man of the house greeted us uppon arrival and then treated us with a welcome drink - a traditional high alcoholic beverage, like Bulgarian rakia for me and a low alcoholic cherry liquore for my wife. The lady of the house offered us coffee from the coffee machine that was on our disposal in the kitchen area, showed us around the kitchen and on the next morning (it was Orthodox Easter) she treated us with peaces of homemade cake, freshly boiled home milk and also gave us amazingly hand-painted eggs! The hospitality of these people was out of this world! We can't thank them enough for the way they made us feel at home!

I loved our stay in Casa Pojorata. It has great facilities, like a kitchen and an outside BBQ. Rooms were spacious and beds were good. Location is also nice, in close vicinity of a village with shops, but also next to the woods and mountains.
